New Landscape Crew Hired
On July 25, Granite Landscaping (Keller, TX) will replace Steven's Landscaping for routine property maintenance. Granite, a higher-priced service, is expected to bring more attention to detail in the routine weekly services, which is needed with the landscape improvements of 2020-2023.
Steven's Landscaping was hired in 2020, replacing Legacy Landscaping at half the cost, and the savings were used to do many landscape upgrades without increasing the landscape budget in 2020 - 2023, including:
- removing and replacing the Westgrove entry landscaping,
- removing and replacing the Knoll Trail/Westgrove corner landscaping,
- removing and replacing the Knoll Trail entrance landscaping,
- removing 48 tree stumps, and cutting down 16 woody Crape Myrtle and Pine trees,
- installing 21 Live Oaks trees,
- adding the massive wall garden to the west side of Central Park,
- adding the pool garden and gates to Bent Tree Country Club,
- adding the dog park,
- planting a large Jasmine bed on Westgrove (previously a soil/dirt area),
- planting a large Jasmine bed at the center island in the north parking lot (previously a soil/dirt area), and
- rebuilding the stone walks behind 5136-5170 (large clay/mud area),
- removing the large dilapidated garden 5146-5148.
